It is a combined Yoga massage (stretching & bending), based upon ancient Ayurvedic principles brought to Thailand by King Rama III and inscribed in Bangkok's famous Wat Pho temple. (Two-hours-session is recommended) 

No oil is used and a two-piece outfit is worn (Thai "Parn" shirt with Fisherman pant). Menthol-based lotion is sometimes used for aching muscles.
