The health check-up includes blood tests and body scans using Electro Interstitial Scan (EIS) technology, which sends mild electrical currents into the body to measure water resistance between the cells of each organ. However, individuals with metal implants or balloon angioplasty cannot undergo body scanning.
About the 9-Valent HPV Vaccine:
HPV vaccines are beneficial in preventing cancer-causing HPV strains, which lead to cervical cancer in women and other cancers in both men and women. The 9-valent HPV vaccine also protects against non-cancerous HPV strains, such as genital warts and anal warts, which can occur in both genders, particularly in men who have sex with men.
The best time to receive the HPV vaccine is before engaging in sexual activity. In children aged 9-15, two doses of the HPV vaccine (with the second dose given 6-12 months after the first) are recommended, as their bodies respond better to the vaccine. For adults aged 15 and older, three doses are recommended (at months 0, 1-2, and 6).
Before the HPV Vaccine: No special preparation is required before receiving the vaccine. However, there may be a risk of fainting after the injection, especially for those who are sleep-deprived, hungry, or unwell. It is recommended to rest, eat normally, and avoid receiving the vaccine if you are seriously ill. Mild conditions like a cold, minor diarrhea, or a low-grade fever are not contraindications.
Contraindications:
Pregnancy is a contraindication for the HPV vaccine. If pregnancy is discovered after vaccination, further doses should be delayed until after delivery, and the vaccine series can then be completed. The vaccine is safe for breastfeeding women.
After the HPV Vaccine: Some individuals may experience pain at the injection site for 2-3 days, or up to a week. Fainting is possible, though severe allergic reactions are very rare. It’s recommended to remain under observation for 15-30 minutes after the injection. If no side effects occur, normal activities, including sports, blood donation, and alcohol consumption, can resume. If you experience fever, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, or arm pain, it’s advised to rest for 2-3 days until symptoms resolve.
The HPV vaccine is an inactivated vaccine, meaning it does not spread in the bloodstream, unlike live vaccines, making it safe for blood donation.
