I visited Bulann Moonlight Spa and had a generally average experience that did not fully meet my expectations. My therapists for the session were K’Karn and K’Aey. The visit began positively with a welcome drink of lime water and a cold towel, which was refreshing. Before the treatment started, they asked about my preferences and conducted a short consultation on areas I wanted to focus on, which I appreciated. I was informed that there were three aromatherapy oil options available, although only two were actually offered for selection. I chose the Floral Light scent. The session continued with a foot wash, followed by changing into spa attire, and everything at this stage went smoothly. During the massage itself, the experience was fairly average, with nothing particularly standing out. The room temperature was comfortable and the background music was relaxing. However, the therapists did not ask about room temperature, music volume, or comfort level at the beginning of the session, which is something I normally expect from spas at this level. The treatment room was spacious and well designed, contributing visually to a relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, the room used a wooden slatted door rather than a fully enclosed door. This significantly affected the experience, as noise from people walking by and sounds of typing from outside were clearly audible throughout the session. The massage technique was inconsistent. Some pressure points were handled well, while others were missed, and the overall pressure was quite light. This may suit guests who prefer gentle pressure, but those expecting deeper or more targeted massage work may find it underwhelming. At the end of the session, my feet were wiped with a hot towel to prevent slipping, which was a thoughtful touch. However, no hot bag or warm compress was provided. The session concluded with tea and fruit, which was pleasant but did not significantly elevate the overall experience. Overall, while the spa has a good setup and a positive start, issues such as poor sound insulation, limited communication during the session, and an average massage left me feeling dissatisfied. With better attention to these details, the experience could be improved considerably.
