Two days ago, I went to Dr. Day Clinic for a scaling. I sat down in the chair and they started immediately — no pre-check, no consultation, nothing. After just 5–6 minutes, the dentist said he was done removing the tartar. I looked at him in disbelief and told him there was no way the job was properly completed. He then told me I had three cavities, each costing 1,000 baht to treat. I agreed to have them filled right away. When the procedure was done, I already needed three repairs to the fillings that had just been done. Yesterday, I went to BIDC to have my teeth checked again. They found that the tartar had only been removed superficially — nothing had been cleaned underneath, where it actually matters. The dentist also discovered that the fillings from Dr. Day Clinic hadn’t been polished, which explained the rough, “smoky” feeling I had already complained about before. To make things worse, one tooth had a sharp edge that could easily cut my tongue. I strongly advise against going to Dr. Day Clinic, but I can highly recommend BIDC. They may be slightly more expensive, but they know exactly what they are doing and work cleanly and professionally. In total, I’ve now spent 8,500 baht for proper cleaning and cavity repair. If I had gone straight to BIDC, it would have cost only around 4,000 baht. What Dr. Day Clinic did is an absolute disgrace. I don’t usually write reviews, but in this case it’s necessary. Teeth are extremely important, and this was the fastest — and worst — dentist visit of my life. I’ve never before had to go twice in a row to fix a dentist’s mistakes.
