I have always liked visiting Let’s Relax Spa because I believed the level of cleanliness, atmosphere, and massage quality was consistently maintained across branches. However, the Suanplu branch I visited today felt quite different from other locations, starting with the fact that they did not provide the usual tablet for selecting preferred areas, checking massage pressure, or counting the treatment time. The two-hour Thai massage consisted of roughly 90% elbow pressing and 10% light rubbing with the fingers. The elbow pressure was extremely painful, as the therapist seemed to apply full body weight, while the finger movements felt so light that they barely reached my muscles or joints — only the surface of the skin. Despite this, the therapist never checked whether the pressure was okay or if any adjustment was needed during the session. In addition, the therapist frequently paused for about 30 seconds at a time for no clear reason, which further disrupted the flow and overall experience. I wanted to ask for a different pressure, but I was afraid the painful elbow pressing would only be applied again, so I remained silent. This was not only my most disappointing massage experience in Thailand, but one of the worst massages I have ever had in my life. It felt like a sad waste of both time and money.

The therapist also kept stopping for around 30 seconds at a time, which broke the flow and made the experience even worse. Overall, this was one of the worst massages I’ve ever had — a complete waste of time and money.
