Program Details
Cervical Cancer Screening combined with Uterine and Ovarian Ultrasound
The examination includes the following:
1. Internal examination by an obstetrician-gynecologist.
2. Cervical cancer screening (Pathose test) by swabbing the cervix and sending the sample to the laboratory for testing for abnormal cells.
3. Transvaginal ultrasound of the uterus and ovaries to check for abnormalities within the uterus, such as ovarian cysts, tumors, or masses in the pelvic cavity.

Preparation Before the Service
1. The service should be received during a time when there is no menstruation, or 5-7 days after the end of menstruation.
2. Do not use vaginal suppositories, creams, or spermicides in the vagina for 48 hours before the examination.
3. Do not douche before the examination.
4. Do not have sexual intercourse for 24 hours before the examination.
