- Reduces the hospitalization rate of infants infected with RSV. Recommended Vaccination Period The RSV (Abrysvo) vaccine is administered to pregnant mothers between 24-36 weeks of gestation in a single dose. This allows the body to effectively build immunity and transfer antibodies from the mother through the placenta to the baby, providing immunity from birth to 6 months of age.
