Subcision Program (acne scar treatment)

• People who have had treatment before but have not seen improvement

Recommended for
• Produces good results for fibrous acne scars (Rolling / Boxcar)
• Minor bruising may occur after the procedure and gradually improve
• Can be combined with other procedures, such as Juvelook, for better results

How does the Subcision program work?
The doctor uses a needle or cannula to cut the scar tissue beneath the skin.
Once the scar tissue is released, the skin gradually rises, and the body produces new collagen to restore the skin, making acne scars appear shallower and the skin smoother.

When will results from the Subcision program appear?
• Changes begin to appear after approximately 2–4 weeks
• Collagen continues to form gradually for approximately 1–3 months
• Acne scars gradually improve with each treatment cycle

How many Subcision sessions are recommended?
• Generally, approximately 1–3 sessions or more
• Allow approximately 1 month between sessions
• Very deep acne scars may require combination treatment with other procedures
