Backbend (Intermediate)
A yoga class focused on developing backbend practice through improved spinal mobility, flexibility, strength, and body control. The class places emphasis on proper alignment, weight distribution, and controlled movement to help you explore deeper backbending safely and effectively.
The practice includes a thorough warm-up and preparation for the spine, shoulders, chest, hips, and thighs. Strengthening exercises for the core, arms, and legs are also incorporated to help create the stability and control needed for more demanding backbend movements.
You will work on spinal mobility, shoulder and hip opening, as well as controlled transitions into and out of backbend poses. The practice may include progressions from foundational poses such as Bridge and Wheel, along with other backbend variations depending on the level of the class.
Held at Satit Yoga Studio, KN Complex, this Intermediate Backbend class is designed to develop flexibility, strength, balance, and body awareness while helping you build greater control and confidence in your backbend practice.
